چکیده
In this paper, a bulk arrival general bulk service queueing model delayed service with restricted vacation policy, variant arrival rate and setup time is considered. The server starts the service only if at least ‘a’ customers are waiting in the queue, and renders the service according to the general bulk service rule with minimum of ‘a’ customers and maximum of ‘b’ customers, then the server will avail of multiple vacations, Also after serving M batches continuously even if sufficient number of customers are there in the queue, the server goes for a vacation with probability or resume service with probability (1. After completing the M th vacation, if the queue length is still less than a then the server remains idle. In addition the server requires a setup time R to start the service, after the setup the server serves a batch of b customers, b ≥ a. It is considered that the variant arrival rate dependent on the state of the server.

Analysis of M/G/ 1 queueing model with state dependent arrival and vacation
This investigation deals with single server queueing system wherein the arrival of the units follow Poisson process with varying arrival rates in different states and the service time of the units is arbitrary (general) distributed. The server may take a vacation of a fixed duration or may continue to be available in the system for next service. Using the probability argument, we construct the ...
متن کاملUnreliable Server Mx/G/1 Queue with Loss-delay, Balking and Second Optional Service
This investigation deals with MX/G/1 queueing model with setup, bulk- arrival, loss-delay and balking. The provision of second optional service apart from essential service by an unreliable server is taken into consideration. We assume that the delay customers join the queue when server is busy whereas loss customers depart from the system. After receiving the essential service, the customers m...

In many practical situations one can observe that the leaving batch of customers may request for re-service. Avi Itzhak and Naor (1963) have analyzed an M/G/1 queueing model with repair of service station on request by a leaving customer. Rosenberg and Uri Yechiali (1993) analyzed a bulk arrival general service single server queue with single and multiple vacations under LIFO service regime. Hu...
متن کاملAN M/G/1 QUEUE WITH REGULAR AND OPTIONAL PHASE VACATION AND WITH STATE DEPENDENT ARRIVAL RATE
We consider an M/G/1 queue with regular and optional phase vacation and withstate dependent arrival rate. The vacation policy is after completion of service if there are no customers in the system, the server takes vacation consisting of K -phases, each phase is generally distributed. Here the first phase is compulsory where as the other phases are optional. For this model the supplementary var...
متن کاملBernoulli Vacation Policy for a Bulk Retrial Queue with Fuzzy Parameters
In this paper, we investigate the fuzzy logic based system characteristics of MX/G/1 retrial queuing system with Bernoulli vacation schedule. The service time and vacation time are assumed to be generally distributed. It is found in many practical situations that the queuing models with fuzzy parameters are much more realistic than the classical crisp parameters based queuing models. We have...
